A Little Something Awesome? - April Fools' Day

I put the question mark up there in the title because I used to love April Fools' Day. I could never ever think of even one good prank to do, but I loved it anyway. Then social media and online advertising got in on the entire April Fools' Day thing, at for a couple of years, ya know, when we still didn't see it coming, I thought that was awesome, too. Now, though, I'm starting to think that the entire online April Fools' Day social media thing is just played out and a little sad. I dunno. Is April Fools' Day awesome or not? A Little Something Awesome - Actually Getting a Day Off When I'm Supposed To

Don't get me wrong. I like my job, a lot. It's low key but rewarding, I'm learning a lot, and it pays pretty good. However, working for a small company means that I'm affected by the actions of every one of my coworkers. If something happens, I'm pretty much guaranteed to get a call about a change to my schedule, usually less than 24 hours in advance, and it can get annoying. Finally, though, I actually did manage to get an entire day today without anything pertaining to my schedule, work or otherwise, changing, and got a day off. I even got to see a movie, which I'll likely take the time to review soon.
